| This is a companion org. to the Chako Rescue Assoiation for the American Pit Bull Terrier (CRA) CHAKO came into existence in 2005 when a bill was introduced that changed state law. As a result, California now allows breed discrimination, threatening dogs and the right of dog owners throughout California. Because insurance companies blacklist more and more breeds-some even refusing to cover homes that include dogs like Boxers, Dalmatians, or German Shepherds--CHAKO formed as a voice for dogs and owners. With the help of its growing member and volunteer base. For further information www.chako.org |

| Read the your post Bigdog and it had a lot of information on where owners can get help for their pets. There have been so much bad news about Pit Bull and this Breed has a hard time even getting a fair shake. I was one who has had a lot of questions about them being a pet one could trust even if they were raised without being taught to be mean. If anyone comes in please give some input about this Breed. Also maybe about other breeds like this too. Thanks Bigdog. |

This is a very interesting about this breed. We have some friends who have some and they have been real good pets. Although, I have read some sad stories about them. |
