Other kinds of Dog Get togethers

Reading all about the birthday parties put this thought in my mind of having other kinds of get togethers for pets and owners.

Idea

What about dog runs with owners around dog parks?

What about Dog Toys party at the park, where everyone
brings their favorite toy and shows off with them and the
owners sharing with other dog owners.

Well, I just kinda think there must be these kind around some where.
But just thought I would throw them out for the fun of it. Maybe you can
find some on the internet to post. Idea

I believe I have seen some advertised. But can't remember if they were events sponsored by groups to raise money for the spca or
just plain dog events for sporting fun to get dogs ready for special show of some sort. At any rate the internet show some if you want to check
some out in your area. Bark Central has something about some in FL.
But I think that has to do with dog shelters.
