Picked up these books on dogs and and found some
interesting things that was in an article which I thought would be good for
us here as everyone in posting interesting things they find. So here goes
What does a Wagging Tail say?
Broad wags at a medium pace means your dog is showing he
likes you and is happy.
Small, fast side ways wag means he is excited.
Slow wags with head lowered means your dog is trying to figure
out the situation.
Holding the tail high or curved over the back with short fast wags
means "give me space"
How cute is this. When you think about it, it does fit my little flossy.
Flossy everyone is a poodle. |

Jazzgirl, your poodle does alot of tail wagging.
First, there is only one way as I see it on reddog. His tail just kinda
slides from side to side. He is so easy going and kinda lazy, but reddog
seems so happy all the time. So keep on wagging flossy. Reddog is
just to tired to try all those different kinds. Hee Haw........No fooling I'm
sure that your article you read was a good one, thanks for posting. |

I just think that at times your pet does say a lot with the tail wagging.
When Chewy came at Christmas, Saddie just stood and tail half up, Chewy's tail was just moving like a feather duster trying to get rid of dirt,
and finally Saddie gave in and marched like a mother hen with her and her tail was held up high with just a light wag. From now on I thing I will watch them together and see if I can see what they say through their tails.
HAw........... You know what I mean when they wag those tails.

The neighbors little dog comes over and Cuddles and
Tobie(a little fixed boy, Rat terrier, ) both stand and look at each other and then the tails wag sideways, and they run real fast. Then stop and
they both look at each other and tails start again. As we watch we laugh
and decided the wagging tails mean "lets play" or Cuddles is saying,
"Okay big boy lets get it on". Oh well it is really funny. |
