It is a great alternative PayPal, also alot cheaper. Add money to your
account using your bank account or existing Credit/Debit card. Instead of
sending through an email address, you send through your US MOBILE
CELL PHONE. Withdraw money from your OboPay account directly to
your bank account, or get an optional prepaid mastercard. It only costs
10cents to send money regardless of the amount, and its FREE to receive
and withdraw your money. What I like about this site is all I needed was
a cell phone to register and get my account verified for use. Unlike PayPal, you do not need to have verification of bank account or credit card to use their services. Now the best part, refer a friend ad get

This is a great. Can all familiy members sign up if they have their own Cell Phone? This would work for all the family where ever they are. This would be great for the family members away at college or at school. I'm thinking I will have some friends check this out and see what they think. And then get the feed back from them.

Oh my God....... I signed up for Obopay and what a great way to send money. My daughter is going to college out of state and this is just perfect for her. She has her own cell phone. You get an option of getting a prepaid Mastercard. So I went ahead and got this for her.
Now when she needs money, all she has to do is call me, then I turn around and send a text message to her phone number with the amount. It instantly is posted and she can access from her prepaid Mastercard.
What a life saver. Unlike having to use emails for sending money, this is done completely through your cell phone.
