Do you know that howling is the hallmark of the wolf.
The howl of the wolf serves to keep in touch with each other. It is the
pep up to get ready to go hunting. It also bonds the pack together and it is fun.
Some dogs howl when the siren of fire truck come by, the high
shrill note triggers the deepest instincts. It is suggested that to really
bond with your pet, try howling. Yes, howling. Make it enjoyable and
howl at your dog. Most dogs will put their heads back and close their
eyes and howl with you. Have fun. Get to bonding with
that lovable pet. |

Well moneylady, I have been howling with my little
cuddles for a long time. That is called "singing in our house" but
it sure does bond us together. My husband, laughs and laughs, I well
get to laughing so hard, I can't howl. but Cuddles keeps up because
she thinks we are suppose to do that. Well I guess so. |

Well this is all well, but reddog howls about any thing and
everything, that is when not sleeping. I mean that is what if feels like
especially if you hear that horrrible howling noise. Reddogs'
voice is just LOUD>>>>Mainly that comes from wanting something
like food, and squirrels. |

Scottie takes off and runs for the back of
the couch. I guess she thinks that its like the storm we had where
the thunder and lightening came. Oh, I tried to do it with her but
no deal and that is where it stands or should I say hides.
Keep on howling you all. hee hee |

Read the posts. They are great. Lots of fun to read. This forum has some great characters and personality. My Peaker jusssst does a funny
howl. Sounds more like talking and calling. Mostly done when we are playing in the back yard and we ask if she wants to go hiking, which she
really loves. We are BONDING and LOVE IT. |

Texbean, my little saddie would really dig that horrible howling,
as she loves the dog next door who sounds like a fog horn and Saddie
sits and barks to keep it going on. What a fun time that is. You know
what I mean since you have reddog who does howling.
See yah |

Hi debbiedoodles, it is good to see you back. I know you have been
abusy and with all the weather being bad, I was wondering how you have been, just wanted to let you know its good to have you come in. And by
the way, I sure wouldn't want live next door to that howling dog you
say that Saddie barks at. That must be a howling good time... |
