Arthritis and Sore Muscles

Thousands of canines suffer from arthritis and sore muscles. Whether your dog is old or young, a working dog or a lazy one, he/she can always benefit from a delightful massage. Massage is a great way to connect with your pooch and it helps build a lasting bond! Here is a recipe for massage oil that can help soothe sore muscles and ease inflamed joints.

1 ounce of a light carrier oil (sweet almond or sunflower oil)
5 drops Chamomile
4 drops Lavender
3 drops Black Pepper

To use: massage directly into inflamed joints and stiff muscles. Store in a cool dark place or in the refrigerator. Laughing Laughing

Cool Cool Well I wanted to get something for Missy J as she is a little stiff.
I think I will try this recipe and see how she does. With the cold she
likes to stay where is it warm and seems to favor her front leg. She loves to have her legs rubbed and wrapped in warm towels. So will check and
see if there is any thing more I can do to help her feel better. She is such
a sweetheart.

Sorry to hear your Missy J gets stiff, but isn't she an older dog? That is
great if this works. I'm going to give this recipe to my Mom as her dogs
are over 10 years old and are Beagles. They are very slow moving and Mom worrys that they have some problems with their bones in the hips.
They go to the Vet and assured Mom that they are okay. Maybe this will
work some for them. Will keep you posted about it.

My friend has a dog who is having some real problems with legs and
back. And vet told him that he will need to treatment. I'm going to
tell him about the post and have him check out and see if there is some
thing he can do get to help his dog. I just hate to see loved family
members hurt like these special dogs.

Very Happy My ketsup was so happy when I gave her a spa treatment at the
house. When I made my spa bath up, I put on my swim suit and took
her in the water. She had a ball and we enjoyed a lavendar soak, which
she seemed to like real well. Afterward, I let her lay on our big swing outside and rubbed her tummy and legs, Brushed her coat for about
30 minutes. That dog ate the attention up and acted like I gave her the
best treat in town. And of course she got her favorite Pet chewy.
Life is good for ketsup. Wink

My friend wanted me to go to the spa with her and when I did I had
a ball and felt so pampered. While there a lady who was sharing with
me while I was relaxing with a cold drink in between treatments and
told me to check out the dog spa package for the home. She got one
for her dog that is a poodle. So too make a long story very short,
I bought one. And BJ loved the pampering. TRY IT YOU WILL LIKE IT.
Of course you will love a spa treatment too, but it is expensive.
But not for the dog. Rolling Eyes Wink Wink Wink
