Wink Confused Wink Many of us communicate with our pets different ways.
One way to communicate is with a S M I L E . When you come in from
work and you call out to your pet...like my little cuddles. She will come
running when I come home and she wiggles and twists her whole body.
Her ears are back and head up and mouth wide with tongue hanging out.

And as I talk to her she will look at me so sweetly, and does a little jig
and when I look at her smiling, she goes around and around in circles.
Dogs are limited in their facial expression but the emotion shown with their
little bodies can show much about the communication between owner and
pet. When I rub her belly she looks so relaxed and will take her paw and
play it on my hand. Should I stop rubbing she will push at my hand. And
she looks so pleased as I continue rub.

Communication is so important and I love 'cuddles'.

Cool Laughing I have to laugh at our smiling dogs. Your little Cuddles must be so cute. Like to read your posts. My reddog has the longest tongue in the world, at least I think so. When reddog is happy that tongue hangs down and this row of teeth to the back of her mouth your can see as the lips
kinda move back and forth. Hard to explain, but I believe it is a smile that is if I can get past the tongue. Ha Wink Wink

Smile Smile Smile Your dog does like to see you smile as well as your friends and
family. I have noticed with my Flossy, who is a poodle, that when I am
laughing or smiling she has a happy way of letting me know she is too.
Her little lips curl up at the sides and she just bounces around. Try a
smile and see what happens to your dogs and family. Life will be so
much better, at least it is at our house. Smile Smile Smile Smile

Missy J is a smiler and you can see this. Everyone who comes to visit
says that they have never seen such a happy dog, and I can attest to
that. My little Missy J is a bundle of joy and makes my heart full. And
then I cn't help but S M I L E . Smile Smile Smile
