Maybe my coonhound would be a good one to train as a
life guard on the creek, as long as the water wasn't too deep. I think
if need be reddog would be there for me. But on the beach, well
he would lie down with the girls and just snooze. And maybe that
wouldn't be so bad. No kidding, this is really great for the people to come up with this idea. These big Labs are just the greatest dogs any way. Sorry reddog your are the best and could do it,
and yes, you do a good job of licking my face when I'm sitting on the
floor trying to watch football. Well on my way to read some posts. |

Texbean you always have a cute thing about the posts. But I thought
the training the Labs for life rescue dogs for swiming is great. This is
a wonderful breed that are naturals for this. My little dashhound is great
but I thing the only thing that she would be able to do is sound the
alarm with her barking. Small but has a great sharp shrill sound.
Look for more from you texbean. Oh by the way, are you flooding out?
keep us posted. See you next time. |

I for one think these are the best for this training too.
They are so loyal. And I have seen one at the river that was swimming
and pulling her little mistress out of the water, if when she had on some
water wings. The mother said that their dog was very protective and they
always take the dog when they go to the river. |
