I was at PET SMART shopping with my daughter. There was a beautiful large Golden Lab with a older lady. She was standing looking at the same area we were at so smiled and reached over to pet the head of this beautiful dog. As I did the little lady jerked the leash and very quickly issued a command. I looked so embarassed, felt so bad. The little lady told me that it was okay, but had to do what she did as it was a service dog in training. Since she hadn't got the cover they wear, she started explaining her job. By the way the DOG was so well mannered and all the time sat and kept his eyes only on her. A BIG HAND TO ALL THOSE WHO WORK TO TRAIN THESE LOVELY DOGS FOR SPECIAL NEEDS PEOPLE. |

Yes, me too. What happened to me was I was walking in the park and Scottie wanted to play and loves the Big Dogs. He was born in a large family, and there were 2 large Yellow Labs, and she loved them.
Well any way, at the park, Scottie tried to play with the Service Training Dog,(had on the litttle shirt) and I just couldn'g get Scottie to leave her
alone. Finally had to move a across the park area. But the Service Dog
was so good, and answered the commands given her. I guess it is real hard for the Scottie to understand. oh well, BIG HAND TO THE PEOPLE WHO TRAIN THEM. |
