When I was young, I was so scared of the "thunder storms" and would
want to be with someone. My aunt was the only one who seemed to
understand me. When I got my little Missy J, she would run to me and sit
at my feet and make little crying sounds. I still feel that tremble that comes when I hear the noise, so with Missy J I have alot of feeling for her
getting scared. My Aunt was so kind and she always let me cry if I wanted to or sit byher till the storm was gone. I've learned that even little
pets are part of our family and need the same tender love and understanding. So when that storm comes, remember it really does cause
some pets to really need someone to be near, petting and talking to them. Smile

Embarassed Smile You know I get scared, but my little yorkie gets really frightened. But sometimes I wonder if she is frightened because I appear
that way or if she is really that way. Sweetie will hide under our bed and
you have to drag her out when she hears the noise. I tried to get her out
one night because she was crying under the bed and we were so worried
about her. Now, we try to get her up with us in the bed when a storm
starts up. I feel so much better to have her cuddled up next to me. Wink Wink Maybe I'm the one who needs the cuddling to be
okay in the storm. Wink

Maxi hates the thunder and especially the lightening. But you know I think I might agree with you about the cuddling. Love Maxi to be near when a
a storm is coming, my shepherd is my best friend. Smile Very Happy

Rolling Eyes Smile Dogs are like us. So what the big deal if you see them run. They
jus do what they see us do, hide from the "big bad thunder noise" cause
you never know what is coming. Ketsup does get scared and runs to me and sits right on top of me. And I sit right on top my husband or near as
can be to him. But the storms in Utah are really loud and scary when rolling in. I guess it is really bad in Panhandle of Texas, at least that is what my friends tell me. Oh well, back to the thunder, it is some thing
that I can do without. Wink

Embarassed Feel a bit funny, but I'm a bit scared of thunder storms. I went to
visit some friends on vacation and we just happened to be in a TEXAS
thunder and hail storm. It was bad and I really was glad when we left
Texas. And BJ was totally frightened that night and RAN and HID in
the blanket I had on my lap. And just whined and whined. Well I think
I was making as much noise as she was. But I will never forget that
vacation trip and neither will BJ. OH YES, THUNDER is BAD!!!! Wink Wink
