I know many of you have other pets besides your special dog.
So let us know if you have one that is different or is unusual and
tell us how everyone gets along? I think it would be great to know some
of the other pets on the forum. So come on in and lets have some
chats. |

Well, ain't this something, I came in and found this post and
what do you know, I just got reddog a new friend yesterday. Yeah,
and its a pet really for my wife. It's a talking parrot. But this is
going to be something, reddog DOESN'T LIKE HIM. His name is Barney
and he does talk. One thing that he does do is whistle, and it is a
"Oh Boy" kind, like a pretty girl. My wife thinks its cute and loves this
bird. Well time will tell if he will stay. We got him from some friends who
were moving to Wyoming, and thought it would be good for him to stay
in Texas with his friends that he knows. Like us, who visited with them
2-3 times a week. Okay, we really kinda like him. But Reddog is just
a bit jealous. |

Texbean, bet that parrot will get better treatment then you.
All you need to do is learn how to whistle like that bird. Your wife will
love you or.......maybe not. Well reddog will not care, that parrot will be
bird pie one day, if reddog has any thing to say about it.

Okay moneylady, bird pie????? Well I have to say that darn
bird nearly got it just the other night. We let out that Parrot and it got
real cocky, yeah......Well Reddog was just lying there snoozing and letting out some crazy sounds, and that bird let out a whistle, needless to say
reddog let out a howl. And oh boy......Bird and Dog were really having
a yelling contest. My wife grabbed the parrot and quickly as she could and got that bird in its cage. While reddog sat below the cage and just
howled. I finally had to take that dog outside in the yard for long walk.
When we came back my wife had covered the cage with the night cover.
Reddog, just ran over to check the cage and we sent that dog to the
den with door closed. We are going to have to figure out what todo about
these two.........Maybe.....doggiebirdpie.....Ha....... |
