The housing foreclosures have caused many to leave their pets
or extra pets at the homesless shelters. It is a shame that even the
ones who we love have to be put out to SPCA when there is no place
for them. Many families are hurting but so are there pets. Have any of
you had to give up your pets because of this????? |

This is a very sad thing to think about. But what can families do now with the need so great to find decent housing. But...I would never leave my best friend behind. Not pointing fingers, cause I don't know how bad it
is and now adays families have lots of pets. It's really hard, but it does
break my heart to think of pets being left behind and alone. |

This is something that is so sad and I wonder what families are
going to do, if they take their pets, then they can't get housing with some
of landlords. It is a real shame. I sure would encourage anyone who
has houses that can be rented will just be careful to give some thought
to those who do love their pets. And especially the elderly. |

Just a thought, maybe we should all think about all the animals
that are out because of families moving to other states, or like in
California where fires are burning out of control. Saw a cat that had
been found by some reporters as they were doing a story on the
fires. They came to the aid by picking up the cat and taking it to some
shelter for help. Someone said had burned paws. Well we have helped
out our friends and making a new member of the family welcomed to
our home. And I will let your know how it goes................Got to run. |

Kinda have to laugh reading your other post and come here and
see you volunteered for the bird to live with you. Boy you got the
guts to be a real animal lover and I'm sure that Reddog really thinks
you are the best for helping out here. And now a firm believer that
you will soon learn to really LOVE that whistle...and the howl..soon.
I'm going now so don't run off. I sure wished you were here today.
I always like to poke fun with you.My Kids and Bowie says HI.... |

I just reread all the posts on this homeless pet of Texbean and both of you
make my day when I read your posts here. Yeah, that bird is going to be one heck
of pet for reddog. Lonesomedove, you have kids and pets too. Well, all of us here
think it would be cute if you sent us some pictures of those pets. Ketsup would like
to get in on the fun, so guess what I now have as a kinda of a friend for her. Got a
little kitten, named winnie poo. She is brown, white and black. Just only 9 weeks old.
And ketsup thinks that she is a toy. And kitten loves to smack her tail. We will be in
for it as this kitten grows. Got to run keep up the good posting. |
