Barking dogs in an apartment or house.

Being going to different dog forums and by far I really like ours here.
Some are so gross. They appear not to care who or what is going on around them and they are not really wanting to discuss or post good things. One I read, was about a question that a interested person asked about her dog who is barking alot in her apartment. And a person suggested that they hit the dog. WOW..I know dogs are sometimes barkers. But there is better ways than hitting them. I used a spray
bottle of water on Sweetie when you was little and she learned real quick
not to bark all the time. And she will stop what ever she is doing if I get
the spray bottle. I had to laugh when I brought home Fabreeze spray to
freshen up the den, she ran and hid. Ha

And laughing was what we did the rest of the day.

Sad to hear that there are those who feel like they want to be in control and start hitting on a poor defenseless little dog. My little ginger
would absolutely die if she was hit. Correcting her behavior is just a
quick "NO" and she stops. I believe that you need to love your pets and
really care in all trainging just like little children. The spray bottle works
with a lot of my friends that have med. size dogs and it works great, but
with my little Ginger I don't think I could do that. I know...yes I am very
protective of her. But she is a very good dog. Wink
