Fires in CA -Thanks to all who helped and are still helping.

This is a sad thing to come to California. But to read the way that people are helping each other is really refreshing. Thinking about those that are helping with donations and kicking in for helping at the centers where people are being sheltered is wonderful. The pictures of the
burned out homes brings me to think how forunate I am to have a home to go to. And the animals that have been hurt and the wonderful help from the various groups who have reached out for caring for these that
have lost their owners. Thanks to all involved and helping.
America is still a nation of caring people.

America is still a land of caring. Nadine, your post was good and I too
think that with all the loss of homes it is amazing that more people were
not hurt or killed. The out pouring of the local news station that are raising funds to help, this is wonderful. We need to remember all who are
facing the future of mental pain that many will go through after loosing
all their family keepsakes. Fire takes it all, there usually is not anything
that can be salvaged. America, under God, the caring of many who are
praying for God's comfort and help in this disaster.

It is sad and I agree with both of you. I read the posts and felt I should
also put in the post about our good country. There are places in this
world where there is no help really available for people. We are so
blessed to live where a call goes out across the news and rich and poor
alike share in the giving to help. I for one say that our Country is a good
place to live and be a part of. America the beautiful is still great! And
God Bless us all. Old fashioned, you bet. But that is the fiber of being
an American. Exclamation
