Some articles I read referred to Media of Police just shooting Pit Bulls after reported attacks or attempted attacks. The thing that was pointed out in one which I thought was interestng was the fact that these dogs have great strength and can scare a person with this aggressive approach that is made. Dogs are not born aggressive but the owners who train them can be responsible for teaching them this bebavior. This breed is extremely loyal and protective of their owners and enter the yards at risk with them. It appears a very hard issue to deal with at times and always the public safety is formost. This breed appears to be damed for just being a pit bull. In the UK , Pit Bulls are illegal. Sad but what a terrible break for this breed. |

It is very sad. Owners are the biggest problem here. We agree with your post. After checking and reading a lot of posts on the behavior of dogs, you can see how the dogs are influenced by the ones that they live with and how they are treated. By the way does it not sound
familiar about children also. |

Hi seabird,
I saw your post, and I agree with you. We went to the Pet Shop and saw some beautiful
little pit bulls there. They were really cute. And the lady who was grooming one said that
the ones they had were absolutely adorable. So, maybe this breed does get a hard hit some times. bye.... |
